Your time with an ARC practitioner

This really is "me" time. You will have the undivided attention of an advanced practitioner who will be able to help you achieve the results you would like.

What will happen at my treatment?

You will be asked to complete a medical history and consent form.

You will have a consultation with your practitioner. You can use this time to discuss how you feel about your looks and what concerns you the most. Your practitioner will advise you on the most appropriate treatment for you.

Once you have decided on a treatment programme, you can go ahead straight away or book in for another appointment.

Wrinkle Relaxing treatments

Wrinkle relaxing treatments usually take around 10-15 minutes.

Make-up will be removed from the area to be treated.

The treatment involves a number of small injections in the area to treated, using tiny needles.

The effects of the wrinkle relaxing treatments take a week or two to appear. In the beginning, the effect of a session will last up to 4 months. After a two or three treatments, at intervals of a few months, the effect of the treatment will last longer. After a year or so of treatment, the areas being treated by Botox® gradually relax and further treatments are only required perhaps once a year.

Most people leave the clinic without a mark, however you may experience some mild bruising or a redness around the treatment area. We are happy to give you clinical cover up ‘make-up’ to cover any marks. This cover up is mineral based and safe for post-injection sites.

Dermal Fillers treatments

Depending on how many areas are being treated, dermal fillers treatments take between 20 and 60 minutes.

Make up is removed from the areas to be treated and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied.

Dermal filler is injected into the site and the effects are instant. There may be some swelling but this generally disappears overnight.

Safe, mineral make-up can be applied immediately to cover any redness or bruising.

Skin Peels

Whether you are being treated for acne, pigmentation and ageing, your skin peel should take around 20 minutes to complete.

• Make up is removed and the skin is thoroughly cleansed
• A prepping solution is applied, preparing the skin for the peel
• The peel solution is applied evenly with a brush
• The skin is kept comfortable with a fan
• A layer of wet gauze is placed over the skin
• The peel is activated by the application of cold water
• The gauze is removed and MagC Peptide anti-oxidant serum is applied
• The skin is protected with Agera Rx Sun Protection Factor
• Daily use of Agera Rx home care products in conjunction with the peels will enhance and maximise your results.
• A programme of 6 treatments will give optimum results
